Gently Falling Notepad Tutorial!!

Morning everyone!

I know where or where have I been?? It's been pretty busy here for us we are still working away on a lot of major projects and trying to get things done before dh's surgery. So I haven't had much time to stamp :( soon grass hopper soon I will. lol

Today I have a project to share along with a Tutorial Video!! I created this to play along with a color challenge in my Fall Fest On-line Class. It's not to late to join in on the fun with us! This is a note pad holder that you can usually find in dollar bins. It uses the stamp set called Gently Falling this is one of my favorite stamp sets!!

 Direction's~

1. Cut 1 piece of River Rock card stock 8 1/2" x 8 1/2". Score it at 4"and 4 1/2"

2. Cut 1 piece of Tangerine Tango card stock 3 3/4" x 8 1/4"

3. Cut 1 piece of More Mustard card stock 3 1/2" x 4" run it through the Big Shot with the Argyle Embossing Folder. Glue to the bottom of the Tangerine Tango card stock.

4. Cut 1 piece of Very Vanilla card stock 3 1/2" x 4 1/4". Take the stamps from Gently Falling Stamp Set; ink them in More Mustard, Lucky Limeade, River Rock, Chocolate Chip and stamp onto the Very Vanilla card stock. Take the Netting Background Stamp; ink it in River Rock and stamp onto the Very Vanilla card stock. Sponge the edges of the Very Vanilla card stock with River Rock. Glue the Very Vanilla card stock to the top of the Tangerine Tango card stock.

5. Cut 1 piece of Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper (Lucky Limeade) 2" x 3 3/4". Glue over lapping the Very Vanilla and More Mustard card stock. Wrap a piece of ½ Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon around the card stock. Wrap a piece of ½ Tangerine Tango Scallop Dots on top. Glue the Tangerine Tango card stock to the River Rock card stock.

6. Die cut a piece of Chocolate Chip card stock out with the Big Shot and the Autumn Accents Bigz Die. Attach to the cover with a Stampin’ Dimensional. Then run it through the Big Shot with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder. Take the stamp from Gently Falling Stamp Set; ink them in More Mustard, Lucky Limeade and River Rock and stamp onto Very Vanilla card stock. Then cut them out and attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the front of the cover.  Add a ½ Very Vanilla Seam Binding Bow, Designer Button Brushed Bronze and a Linen Thread Bow to the bottom of the leaves.

Monday's 3D Challenge; Fruit and Flowers Gift Card Holder

Morning everyone!

Happy Memorial Day!! Sorry I have been missing we've been pretty busy here. We have been working 15+ hour days and then had family here and some from out of State along with a few graduations too. I haven't had a lot of computer or crafting time! Thanks for the emails of concern were ok just a little worn out. lol

Today I am sharing a fun little gift card holder idea!! It uses the Berry Blossom Designer Series Paper that is on the retired list! If you haven't yet purchased this designer series paper then HURRY before it is gone!!! A lot of the Retired Accessories are already gone too so be sure to HURRY and order what you want because once it's gone its gone!!! Directions~

1.  Using the Big Shot and Scallop Square Die; die cut 1 Scallop Square out of Wisteria Wonder card stock.

2. Cut 1 Basic Black card stock 4" x 8" score at 4". Fold on the scored line to create like a card and attach to the scallop Square.

3. Cut 1 Lucky Limeade card stock 3 3/4" x 3 3/4". Run it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.


4. Cut 1 Berry Blossom Designer Series Paper 1" x 3 3/4". Glue to the left side of the Lucky Limeade card stock.

5. Cut 1 Whisper White card stock 3" x 3". Take the stamp from Fruit & Flowers Stamp Set; ink in Lucky Limeade card stock and stamp along the left and bottom edge. Take the stamp from Family Reunion Stamp Set; ink it in Basic Black and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock in the upper right hand corner. Glue the Whisper White card stock to the Lucky Limeade card stock then wrap some Calypso Coral Baker's Twine around the bottom. Glue the Lucky Limeade card stock to the front of the Basic Black card stock. Take the stamps from Fruit & Flowers Stamp Set and ink them in Wisteria Wonder and Calypso Coral. Stamp onto Whisper White card stock and cut each flower out. Then attach with Stampin' Dimensionals and add some Jewels Basic Rhinestones the front.

Inside~

6. Cut 1 Lucky Limeade card stock 3 3/4" x 3 3/4". Glue to the Basic Black card stock on the inside.


7. Cut 1 Basic Black card stock 1" x 4". Apply Liquid Glue only on the ends and across the bottom edge attach to the Lucky Limeade card stock. This then creates a pocket.

8. Cut 1 Berry Blossom Designer Series Paper 1/2" x 4". Glue to the Basic Black card stock.

Monday's 3D Challenge; The Open Sea Book Mark

Morning :)

Sorry I've been missing! We've been pretty busy here this past week. My dad was gone on a fishing trip with family so I was a little more busier than normal with my parents farm. Of course those of you that have farms know when the owner leaves everything that can go wrong does. Yep your probably laughing with me...right. lol so I was gone a lot!

Today I am sharing a fun little book mark idea!! Another cute idea for "manly idea"! It uses the Well Worn Designer Series Paper that is on the retired list! Directions~

1. Cut 1 piece of River Rock card stock 1 1/2" x 5 1/2". Take the stamp from The Open Sea Stamp Set; ink it in River Rock and stamp onto the River Rock card stock. Sponge the edges with River Rock ink.
2. Cut 1 piece of Well Worn Designer Series Paper 1" x 3". Notch out one end of the Designer Series Paper and glue to the River Rock card stock towards the bottom.
3. Cut 7 3/4" of 3/8 Not Quite Navy Taffeta Ribbon. Notch out one end of the 3/8 Not Quite Navy Taffeta Ribbon. Place a glue dot on one end and attach to the Well Worn Designer Series Paper. Create a loop at the top and place 1 Neutrals Brad in through the ribbon.
3. Punch out 1 piece of Early Espresso card stock with the 2 3/8 Scallop Circle Punch. Use the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool to pierce holes in each scallop. Wrap some Linen Thread between each scallop. Attach to the book mark with Stampin' Dimensionals.
4. Take the stamp from The Open Sea Stamp Set; ink it in Not Quite Navy and stamp onto a piece of River Rock card stock. Punch out the stamped image with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch. Sponge the edges with River Rock ink. Attach to the Early Espresso Scallop Circle with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Directions~

1. Cut 1 piece of Crumb Cake card stock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Score it at 3/4" and 1".

2. Cut 1 piece of Poppy Parade card stock 1/2" x 4". Take the stamp Now You're Cookin'; ink it in Poppy Parade and stamp all over the Poppy Parade card stock. Sponge the edges with Poppy Parade ink. Glue the Poppy Parade card stock to the Crumb Cake card stock.

3. Cut some Copy Paper 4" x 4 1/4". Use the stamp Now You're Cookin'; ink it in Poppy Parade and stamp onto the Copy Paper. Place the Copy Paper onto the Crumb Cake card stock. Fold over the Crumb Cake card stock at the top then set two Metallic Brads on each end.

4. Use the Big Shot and the Scallop Rectangle Clearits Die to die cut out a piece of Domestic Goddess Designer Series Paper. Sponge the edges with Crumb Cake ink. Take the stamp from Family Reunion Stamp Set; ink it in Pool Party and stamp it onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Punch it out with the Large Oval Punch. Sponge the edges with Crumb Cake ink. Glue it to the Domestic Goddess Designer Series Paper. Take the stamp Now You're Cookin'. Ink it in Poppy Parade and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Ink it in Crumb Cake and stamp onto Whisper White card stock. Then cut both images out and attach to the Domestic Goddess Designer Series Paper. Wrap some Calypso Coral Baker's Twine around.

Directions~

1. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White card stock 3" x 6 3/4". Place it vertically onto the Simply Scored and score a 1/2" in on the two sides. Place the card stock horizontally and score it at 3 1/4" and 3 1/2". Use the 3/16 Corner Punch to round all four corners. This is the base part of the purse.

2. Cut 2 piece of Whisper White card stock 1/4" x 6". These are the handles then attach to the front and back.

3. Cut 1 piece of Basic Black card stock 2 3/4" x 3". Run through the Big Shot with the Perfect Details Texture Plate.

4. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White card stock 2 1/4" x 2 1/2". Glue to the card stock from Step 3.

5. Cut 1 piece of Poppy Parade card stock 2" x 2 1/4". Use the Curly Label Punch to partly punch a piece out in Pool Party. Then use the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool to pierce holes in the Curly Label. Glue to the back of the Poppy Parade card stock and attach to the other pieces of card stock. Take the stamp Tiny Tea Cup; ink it in Daffodil Delight and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Then punch it out with the 1 1/4 Square Punch. Glue it to the Poppy Parade card stock. Wrap some Pool Party Baker's Twine around the layers of card stock. Take the stamp from Tiny Tea Cup; ink it in Basic Black and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Punch it out with the small oval punch. Use the Mat Pack and Paper-piercing Tool to pierce holes across the bottom. Attach with Stampin' Dimensionals then add some Jewels Basic Rhinestones to the Poppy Parade card stock.

6. Cut 2 piece of Whisper White card stock 3/4" x 1 3/4". Score the card stock at 1/4 and 1/2". Fold on the scored lines apply some liquid glue to the tabs and attach to the inside of the purse on the sides.This creates the side piece so what you put inside doesn't fall out.

Directions~

1. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White card stock 2” x 8 ½”. Score at 4” and 4 ½”. Take the stamp from Mixed Bunch Stamp Set; ink it in Blushing Bride and stamp all over the Whisper White card stock. Place candy onto card stock and fold around. Secure closed with Sticky Strip.

2. Cut 1 piece of Twitterpated Designer Series Paper 1” x 4”. Glue to the center of the Whisper White card stock.

3. Cut 1 piece of Twitterpated Designer Series Paper ½” x 4 ½”. Notch out one of the ends of the DSP and then glue to center of Twitterpated Designer Series Paper in Step 2.

4. Punch a decorative label out in Blushing Bride using the Decorative Label Punch. Cut in half and attach on the left side. Punch out a piece of Basic Gray card stock with the Blossom Punch. Add some ½ Baja Breeze Seam binding onto the back of the flower and attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Take the stamp from Mixed Bunch Stamp Set; ink it in Blushing Bride and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock and then cut out the image. Attach to the Gray flower. Take the stamp from Mixed Bunch Stamp Set; ink it in Pear Pizzazz and stamp it onto the Whisper White card stock and punch it out with the ¾” Circle Punch and glue to the center of the flower. Take the stamp from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set; ink it in Baja Breeze and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock and cut into a banner. Place a Stampin’ Dimenensional onto the back and attach across the center of the flower. Then added one Jewels Basic Rhinestone to the decorative Blushing Bride label.

Monday's 3D Challenge; Funky Four Gift Card Holder

Morning peeps!

Today I am sharing the Gift Card from Stampin' Addicts Blog Bouncing! I created this for Stampin' Addicts Monday 3D Challenge. If you never been check it out, it is geared towards Stampin' Up! if your a demo be sure to sign up for the demo forums and then give a shout out to me catrules!! This can be easily changed out to fit anyone or any time of the year.

Directions~

Gift Card Holder~

1. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White card stock 3 1/2" x 7 1/2". Place the card stock horizontal onto the Simply Scored and score at 3 3/4". Place the card stock vertically onto the Simply Scored and score 1" in on one side.

2. Cut 1 piece of Pink Pirouette card stock 2 1/4" x 3 1/2". Run it through the Big Shot with the Perfect Details Texturz Plate. Glue the card stock to the Whisper White card stock.

3. Cut 1 piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock 1 3/4" x 3 1/4". Glue the card stock to the Pink Pirouette.

4. Cut 1 piece of Cheerful Treat Designer Series Paper 1" x 3 1/2". Glue to the bottom of the Pear Pizzazz card stock.

5. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White card stock 1 3/4" x 3". Take the stamp from Funky Four Stamp Set; ink it in Pear Pizzazz and stamp all over the Whisper White card stock. Glue to the Pear Pizzazz card stock. Wrap a piece of 1/4 Pretty in Pink Grosgrain Ribbon around the holder. Punch a piece of Pink Pirouette card stock out with the Decorative Label Punch. Run the card stock through the Big Shot with the Perfect Details Texturz Plate. Punch a piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock out with the Large Oval Punch. Take the stamp from Family Reunion Stamp Set; ink it in Melon Mambo and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Cut it into a banner and attach with Stampin' Dimensionals. Add some Jewels Basic Rhinestones to the oval.

Inside Directions~

1. Cut 2 pieces of Cheerful Treat Designer Series Paper 1/2" x 3 3/4". Glue the DSP to the front of the pockets.

2. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White card stock 2" x 3". Take the stamp from Funky Four Stamp Set; ink it in Pear Pizzazz and stamp on the left side.

3. Cut 1 piece of Cheerful Treat Designer Series Paper 1/2" x 2". Glue on the left side of the Whisper White card stock. Punch a piece of Pink Pirouette card stock using the Curly Label Punch. Glue to the back of the Whisper White card stock then add some Jewels Basic Rhinestones to the label. Then slide into the pocket.
