Day 9

Build a snowman day....this has been one of my favorite things to do since I was a kid! So I came up with some fun gift ideas and a fun craft project to do indoors this year.

How about a decorated electric tea light. Cute right? I found this general idea on pinterest. So fun and easy to do too. I made the hat using the Big Shot, Everyday Jar's Framelits and Layering Squares Framelits. Stamped the images from the retired Stitched With Cheer Stamp Set and used the Holly Berry Builder Punch.
Use a sharpie to draw the eyes on the tea light.

Of course it needed a little box to hold it. I filled the box with tinsel another awesome use for that stuff!

The lid I created for the box. I just die cut out the center with the retired Perfect Pines Framelits. Then added a piece of Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate over the opening so the snowman could peek through :)

The adults got snowman poop boxes. lol I made this using the Big Shot, Layering Circles Framelits and the Jolly Hat Builder Punch. It fits the tic tac containers. (This was one of my husbands favorites to give his siblings. lol)

I wanted some sort of crafty thing that the families could do so we created build a snowman kit using glue, cotton balls, card stock, and pipe cleaners. I am going to be sharing this hole project in Jan sometime along with the printable we created so be sure to come back for that one.

Every family recieved some sort of fun gifts we purchased that had a snowman theme. I found these really cute snowman picks for everyone. Everyone's gift was different to match kid's ages.

Here is the card we put in Day 9 Gift. It uses the retired 25 Days stamp set.

Day 9 Christmas Tag. I used the Big Shot, Perfect Pines Framelits and the retired 25 Days Stamp Set to create them.

Day 10

December is the biggest month for pictures so I hunted down some cute little picture holders.

How stinkin cute are these?

Here is Day 10 card we put in the gifts. It uses the retired stamps 25 Days and Tin of Tags Stamp Sets.

Day 10 Gift Tag uses the same stamps as the Day 10 card plus the Big Shot, Layering Squares Framelits, Wrapped in Warmth DSP, Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine, Baker's Twine Trio Pack.

Snowman is a good theme. We are having some snow again today and I am sure you have plenty but not like they had in Erie, PA! That was ridiculous. I totally forgot about the little snowman lights. I bought the little electric tea lights last year - I wonder if they still light up. I am not sure where they are at this minute. Anyway, cute stuff for the family! Have a happy new year!

Thanks Chris and same to you!
