SRC-Lovely-as-a-Tree-banner

Welcome to another The Stamp Review Crew Hop!! We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who will be bringing you lots of ideas for one particular stamp set twice a month!!  The 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, you can hop along from one blog to the next gathering all kinds of inspiration for one Stampin' Up! stamp set. Please note the blog doesn't officially start until Monday July 21 so some of the links may not work.

I so excited for the fun this hop!! We were one of the groups to be picked for display board samplers at the Stampin' Up! Convention this year!!! It was such an honor!! The projects that we are sharing today are what we made for the display board. We have a great group of talented stampers for this hop!!  If you are following the hop in order you just arrived from Ann's blog The Stamin' Schach where she made some beautiful projects!!! We are featuring Lovely as A Stamp Set from the Main Catalog.

As you may know Lovely as A Tree Stamp Set has been around for a long time and what better set to feature!! I became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator 11 years ago in March and this was one of my first sets I purchased. lol There is a lot of possibilities with this set and I never get tired of creating with this set.

My first project is a card here is the front view. I used some of the new lovely in colors to create my card. I used the Park Lane Designer Series Paper. My favorite paper this year!! I used some of the pretty new venetian Crochet Trim with 2014-2016 In Color Clothespins.

Here is the inside of my card. I added some of the Park Lane Designer Series Paper and the Venetian Crochet Trim to the inside.

My second project was a fun little box I created. I kept with the same color scheme as the card. I used the Park Lane Designer Series Paper again too :)

I hope you liked my projects!! I had a lot of fun creating it! I will be sharing the details on my  card on thursday so be sure to stop back.I will have a video and directions for the box in a few weeks. Now you'll want to head on over to Beth's blog My Little Craft Blog and see her fabulous creation!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Great cards. The lace is a really unexpected touch. I love the clothespin on the first card, too.

Great projects - love the colors and that DSP!

Wonderful projects! Love the fun little box.

Great projects! Love that clothespin! So cute!

Plain, simple and great designs - wonderful accents!

Super projects, Holly. LOVE the crocheted lace - it's a perfect bit of softness with the scene and bold colors.

Holly, love the color palette you used with this challenge. It conjures up both fall and classic quilts to me. Gorgeous!

Perfect colors you've used on these Holly!! Love them both!! I still don't own this stamp set!! lol But I really do NEED it! :)

Very pretty, Holly!

Stamping in black and white is quite dramatic and classy. I never thought to use just part of the tree scene image before... that's a great idea!

Beautiful work, Holly! Love the color combo you chose here as well as the combination of embellishments you chose. I really liked the other projects you provided for the convention board, too. THANKS!
(p.s. This set was one I chose for my starter kit nearly 9 years ago. It's an oldie but goodie!)

Your combination of colors and paper and embellishments is beautiful!

Two very pretty cards Holly. Love the fun colors and the way you used just a portion of the tree image on the second card is fabulous!
