Harvest of Thanks Card 2

Morning everyone!

Sorry I didn't post last week. I thought I would be able to while down at the Mayo but I ended up getting pretty sick from some of the tests they put me through and a lot of days it was up at 5 to be somewhere by 7. It was a grueling pace and it was pretty rough on me. lol We did get good news. I have a cracked rib that is healing so that was causing some of the pain thanks to everyone pushing on it here. lol At one point I had a bad bacteria infection that my body fought off but it messed my system up pretty good. I also found out for sure I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis but I have a rare kind where it also attacks your immune system so that was causing some problems too. So I am very thankful it was nothing life threatening and to have answers instead of well we don't know. lol Thank you everyone for your prayers and emails it meant a lot to us!!

I created this to play along with a color challenge for my Fall Fest On-line Class. The class officially over but you can still purchase the class and get 14 fabulous and cute projects with step by step photos in a downloadble PDF along with Video Tutorials! Lots of Fall and Halloween ideas for you!! I used the Harvest of Thanks Stamp Set out of the Holiday Catalog!

My base is Soft Sky card stock. I cut a piece of Early Espresso card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper (Soft Sky pattern). I cut another piece of Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper (Tangerine Tango pattern). I took the stamp from Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set inked in Early Espresso and stamped off onto a piece of scratch paper then stamped onto the designer paper. I cut a piece of Summer Starfruit card stock. I took the stamp from Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set; inked in Summer Starfruit and stamped onto the Summer Starfruit card stock. I took the stamp from Harvest of Thanks Stamp Set; inked it in Early Espresso and stamped onto the bottom right corner of the Summer Starfruit card stock.

I cut a piece of Soft Sky card stock. I wrapped a piece of 7/16 Natural Trim around the layers. I wrapped a piece of Linen Thread around on top of the 7/16 Natural Trim. I took the stamp from Harvest of Thanks Stamp Set; inked in Early Espresso and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I attached the Very Vanilla card stock with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a double Linen Thread Bow with an Antique Brad in the center. I attached the layers with Stampin' Dimensionals to the front of the card. I then finished it off with some Pearls Basic Jewels.

Glad your back home with good news, and on the road to feeling better!

Glad to hear that you finally got some answers. I hope that you are feeling better soon. Lovely fall card -- great textures!

Holly - so very glad that you have answers now. They may not be the ones you wanted, but at least it's been narrowed down now and you can find a path to comfort and improved health.

Your card today is another beautifully detailed one. Like your other creations, this one has something to delight the eye on every layer and as a whole. Take care and thank you for sharing your creativity with us :)

Oh, man. Healing sure isn't gentle is it! I am glad you have answers now!

Love the card, you sure know how to get lots mileage out of a stamp. That is a really good thing by the way :)

So glad you got answers. That can be such a frustrating part of dealing with illness.

I love the card. You do such a nice job of mixing different elements and making them look beautiful together.
