I have a card to share today that uses one of the retiring stamp sets called House and Home. This is a fun little set to work with! It also uses the Domestic Goddess Designer Series Paper that is retiring as well. I created this fun card to play along with my Summer Fun On-line Class!

My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Basic Gray card stock ran it through the Big Shot with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Pool Party card stock. I took the stamp from House and Home Stamp Set; inked in Pool Party and stamped onto the Pool Party card stock. I cut two pieces of Domestic Goddess Designer Series Paper in different patterns. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from House and Home Stamp Set; inked in Pool Party and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Fabulous Phrases Stamp Set; inked in Basic Gray and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I then set 3 Mini Silver Brads on the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of 3/8 Calypso Coral Ruffled Ribbon and placed it across the front of the card.

Happy Memorial Day!! Sorry I have been missing we've been pretty busy here. We have been working 15+ hour days and then had family here and some from out of State along with a few graduations too. I haven't had a lot of computer or crafting time! Thanks for the emails of concern were ok just a little worn out. lol

Today I am sharing a fun little gift card holder idea!! It uses the Berry Blossom Designer Series Paper that is on the retired list! If you haven't yet purchased this designer series paper then HURRY before it is gone!!! Directions~

1.  Using the Big Shot and Scallop Square Die; die cut 1 Scallop Square out of Wisteria Wonder card stock.

2. Cut 1 Basic Black card stock 4" x 8" score at 4". Fold on the scored line to create like a card and attach to the scallop Square.

3. Cut 1 Lucky Limeade card stock 3 3/4" x 3 3/4". Run it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

4. Cut 1 Berry Blossom Designer Series Paper 1" x 3 3/4". Glue to the left side of the Lucky Limeade card stock.

5. Cut 1 Whisper White card stock 3" x 3". Take the stamp from Fruit & Flowers Stamp Set; ink in Lucky Limeade card stock and stamp along the left and bottom edge. Take the stamp from Family Reunion Stamp Set; ink it in Basic Black and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock in the upper right hand corner. Glue the Whisper White card stock to the Lucky Limeade card stock then wrap some Calypso Coral Baker's Twine around the bottom. Glue the Lucky Limeade card stock to the front of the Basic Black card stock. Take the stamps from Fruit & Flowers Stamp Set and ink them in Wisteria Wonder and Calypso Coral. Stamp onto Whisper White card stock and cut each flower out. Then attach with Stampin' Dimensionals and add some Jewels Basic Rhinestones the front.
 

Inside~

6. Cut 1 Lucky Limeade card stock 3 3/4" x 3 3/4". Glue to the Basic Black card stock on the inside.

7. Cut 1 Basic Black card stock 1" x 4". Apply Liquid Glue only on the ends and across the bottom edge attach to the Lucky Limeade card stock. This then creates a pocket.

8. Cut 1 Berry Blossom Designer Series Paper 1/2" x 4". Glue to the Basic Black card stock.

Scrapbook Saddle Up Friday; Fruit and Flowers Mini Ablum

Happy Friday!!!

I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!! Today I am sharing a fun cute little mini album I created! It uses the Fruit and Flowers Stamp Set along with the soon to retire Berry Blossom Designer Series Paper. I created this to play along with a challenge for my Summer Fun On-line Class.

Tip~ You can make a fun and cute mini album supper simple and fast using just a few items!!

Directions~

1. Cut 1 piece of Calypso Coral card stock 3 1/2" x 6 1/4". Then score it at 3 1/4" fold on scored lines.

2. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White card stock 2 3/4" x 3 1/4" and glue to the cover of the Calypso Coral card stock.

3. Cut 1 piece of Berry Blossom Designer Series Paper 2 1/2" x 3" and glue to the Whisper White card stock.

4. Cut 1 piece of Berry Blossom Designer Series Paper 1" x 3 1/2" and gule to the left side of the other piece of Berry Blossom Designer Series Paper.

Tip~ Don't be afraid to mix your patterns of designer series paper to see what you can come up with!

5. Cut 9 1/2" of 1/8 Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon and wrap around the mini album.

6. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White card stock 2" x 2 1/4". Take the stamps from Fabulous Phrases Stamp Set; ink them in Basic Black and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock. Take the stamps from Fruit and Flowers Stamp Set; ink then in Lucky Limeade and Calypso Coral and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock. Attach the Whisper White card stock over the ribbon and attach to the front of the album. Then added 2 Jewels Basic Rhinestones in the upper right hand corner.

Tip~ Use stamps that are just phrases to create your title on your page or mini albums. This is a great way to get more use out of your stamps!!

On the inside~

1. Cut 2 pieces of Whisper White card stock 2 3/4" x 3 1/4" gule each piece to the Calypso Coral card stock.

2. Cut 2 pieces of Berry Blossom Designer Series Paper 1" x 3 1/2" and glue over the Whisper White card stock on each side.

Today I am sharing a fun little book mark idea!! Another cute idea for "manly idea"! It uses the Well Worn Designer Series Paper that is on the retired list! Directions~

1. Cut 1 piece of River Rock card stock 1 1/2" x 5 1/2". Take the stamp from The Open Sea Stamp Set; ink it in River Rock and stamp onto the River Rock card stock. Sponge the edges with River Rock ink.
2. Cut 1 piece of Well Worn Designer Series Paper 1" x 3". Notch out one end of the Designer Series Paper and glue to the River Rock card stock towards the bottom.
3. Cut 7 3/4" of 3/8 Not Quite Navy Taffeta Ribbon. Notch out one end of the 3/8 Not Quite Navy Taffeta Ribbon. Place a glue dot on one end and attach to the Well Worn Designer Series Paper. Create a loop at the top and place 1 Neutrals Brad in through the ribbon.
3. Punch out 1 piece of Early Espresso card stock with the 2 3/8 Scallop Circle Punch. Use the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool to pierce holes in each scallop. Wrap some Linen Thread between each scallop. Attach to the book mark with Stampin' Dimensionals.
4. Take the stamp from The Open Sea Stamp Set; ink it in Not Quite Navy and stamp onto a piece of River Rock card stock. Punch out the stamped image with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch. Sponge the edges with River Rock ink. Attach to the Early Espresso Scallop Circle with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I cut a piece of Berry Blossom Designer Series Paper (Purple Pattern) and glued it to the center. I cut a piece of Domestic Goddess Designer Series Paper (Blue Plaid Pattern) and glued it to the center. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Curly Cute Stamp Set; inked in Pool Party and stamped in the upper right hand corner of the Whisper White card stock. I wrapped a piece of 1/2 Basic Black Scallop Dots around the center of the card stock. I took the stamps from Raining Flowers Stamp Set; inked them in Wisteria Wonder and Pool Party and stamped onto Whisper White card stock. I cut out the images and popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals and then added some Basic Glimmer Brads to the center. I then added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones to the card.

This weeks Color Combo

This Weeks Inspiration

My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Pool Party card stock. I took the stamp from House and Home Stamp Set; inked in Pool Party and stamp all over the Pool Party card stock. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from House and Home Stamp Set; inked in Daffodil Delight and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Domestic Goddess Designer Series Paper. Using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch to punch a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock. I cut a piece of Whisper White and Domestic Goddess Designer Series Paper next. I then punched a piece of Whisper White card stock out with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch. I took the stamp from Fabulous Phrases Stamp Set; inked in Pool Party and stamped onto the circle. I then used the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool to pierce holes along the edge of the circle. I wrapped some White Baker's Twine around the card stock layers and then set 3 Mini Silver Brads. I then placed Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back of the Pool Party card stock and attached to the front of the Whisper White card. I took the stamp from House and Home Stamp Set; inked in Calypso Coral and stamped on a piece of Whisper White card stock. I cut the image out and popped it up with a Stampin' Dimensional.

Directions~

1. Cut 1 piece of Crumb Cake card stock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Score it at 3/4" and 1".

2. Cut 1 piece of Poppy Parade card stock 1/2" x 4". Take the stamp Now You're Cookin'; ink it in Poppy Parade and stamp all over the Poppy Parade card stock. Sponge the edges with Poppy Parade ink. Glue the Poppy Parade card stock to the Crumb Cake card stock.

3. Cut some Copy Paper 4" x 4 1/4". Use the stamp Now You're Cookin'; ink it in Poppy Parade and stamp onto the Copy Paper. Place the Copy Paper onto the Crumb Cake card stock. Fold over the Crumb Cake card stock at the top then set two Metallic Brads on each end.

4. Use the Big Shot and the Scallop Rectangle Clearits Die to die cut out a piece of Domestic Goddess Designer Series Paper. Sponge the edges with Crumb Cake ink. Take the stamp from Family Reunion Stamp Set; ink it in Pool Party and stamp it onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Punch it out with the Large Oval Punch. Sponge the edges with Crumb Cake ink. Glue it to the Domestic Goddess Designer Series Paper. Take the stamp Now You're Cookin'. Ink it in Poppy Parade and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Ink it in Crumb Cake and stamp onto Whisper White card stock. Then cut both images out and attach to the Domestic Goddess Designer Series Paper. Wrap some Calypso Coral Baker's Twine around.

Mother's Day Card

Morning everyone!

Today I am sharing a card I created to play along with a color challenge for my Summer Fun On-line Class. This card was created with Mother's Day in mind. Happy Mother's Day to all!

My base is Soft Suede card stock. I cut one piece of Lucky Limeade and So Saffron card stock. I ran the So Saffron card stock through the Big Shot with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from My Friend Stamp Set; inked in Lucky Limeade and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Family Reunion Stamp Set; inked it in Soft Suede and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I used the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool to pierce a row of holes on the Lucky Limeade card stock on the left side. I wrapped some 3/8 So Saffron and Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine around the card. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and attached to the card front. I then added a Subtles Designer Button to the center of the bow.

On the inside I cut a piece of Lucky Limeade and Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of So Saffron card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder. I then wrapped some Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine around the card stock.

Scrapbook Saddle Up Friday; 8 x 8 Scrap Page

Happy Friday!!!

I will be hosting the Scrapbook Saddle Up with y'all!! It will feature a scrapbook layout to a scrapbooking album ideas along with tips, techniques and etc!! Today I am sharing a 8 x 8 Page I created to play along with a bonus color challenge for my Frosty Kisses On-line Class. This layout uses the jumbo wheel called Friendly Words. My base is Basic Gray card stock. I cut a piece of Baja Breeze card stock next. I took the Friendly Words Jumbo Wheel; inked it in Baja Breeze and wheeled it across the bottom of the page. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock for the journaling block.

Tip~ It's always important to have an area for journaling on you layout somewhere.

I cut a piece of Not Quite Navy card stock and glued it so it over lapped the Whisper White card stock. I used the Decorative Label Punch to punch out a piece of Whisper White card stock. I then used the Basic Gray Stampin' Write Marker to write "Cherish" on my tag.

Tip~ Use your punches to create tags for your pages.

I cut  a piece of Baja Breeze card stock for the photo mat. I wrapped a piece of 3/8 Not Quite Navy Taffeta Ribbon across the bottom of the layout. I used the Framelits Dies Heart Collection to die cut out two hearts; one in Basic Gray and the other in Not Quite Navy card stock. I ran the Basic Gray heart through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. I took the stamp from P.S. I Love You; inked in Baja Breeze and stamped on a piece of Whisper White. I punched it out with the Word Window Punch. I placed a Clear Rhinestone Brad on the hearts. I then attached it all with a Stampin' Dimensional. To finish off the page I used the Big Shot and Billboard Decorative Strip to die cut out "Love".
