My base is a piece of Whisper White card stock. I then cut a piece of Old Olive card stock. I took the stamp from Serene Snowflakes Stamp Set; inked in Old Olive and stamped onto the Old Olive card stock.

Tip~ Use your stamps to create you own custom background paper!!

I cut a piece of Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper. I cut a piece of Early Espresso card stock. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock for the Photo Mat. I used the Decorative Label Punch to punch out a piece of Riding Hood Red card stock. I used the White Gel Pen to write the year on it then slid it in under the Early Espresso card stock.

Tip~ It's important to have some spot on your page for the date. I achieved this by using the Decorative Label Punch to punch a tag out.

I cut another piece of Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper in a different pattern and ran it across the bottom. I wrapped a piece of 1/4 Old Olive grosgrain ribbon around the DSP.

Tip~Add different patterns to your page to make it pop. I achieved this by using two different backgrounds of Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper.

I took the stamp from Merry and Type Stamp Set; inked in Old Olive and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I punched it out using the 1" Square Punch. I then punched out a piece of Riding Hood Red card stock with the Postage Stamp Punch. I placed a Stampin' Dimensional on the back and attached it over the 1/4 Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon.

Tip~ Create your own page embellishments using your stamps and punches.

To finish off the page I then added some Jewels Basic Rhinestones. This is a great page on it's own or you have the beginning to a Progressive Page!!

Great layout - I love smaller pages, you get a big WoW in a small space!

Great page! I agree, having the date is very important, and I love how you used the decorative label punch for it!

Very nice! This would make a great recipe swap page, too.

So cute Holly! Love the layout and the way you used the DSP.

Wonderful page!

Love this page, Holly! Love using the tags for the date stamps.

Cool page! Love the tag for the date! Gotta remember that one.
