Another card using The Sounding Joy
Morning everyone!
Thanks for your emails and prayers about my dad. I really appreciate it!! It was a pretty long day yesterday and things didn't go good. They ended up having to basically almost do the entire surgery over that they had done back in January. My dad had a lot of pain afterwards. I did get to bring him home late yesterday so hopefully the worst of this is behind us.
Today I am sharing another card made using The Sounding Joy Stamp Set. I made this card to play along in a color challenge for my last on-line class Winter Wonderland. Earlier in this week I also upload some more stuff for sale in my Etsy Store. You can visit it HERE.

My base is Early Espresso card stock. I cut a piece of Marina Mist card stock ran it through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Old Olive card stock and punched one side with the Eyelet Border Punch. I cut a piece of Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper. I used the Bone Folder to distress the edges slightly. I sponged the edges with Early Espresso ink and then snailed it to the Marina Mist card stock. I cut a piece of Early Espresso card stock, snailed it to the center of the Marina Mist card stock butting up the edge with the Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper. I wrapped some 5/8 Old Olive Satin Ribbon around the center and created a ruffle on the left side with it. I wrapped a piece of 1/8 Early Espresso Taffeta in the center of the 5/8 Old Olive Satin Ribbon. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamps from The Sounding Joy Stamp Set; inked them in Old Olive and Early Espresso and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I used the Bone Folder to distress the edges on the Whisper White card stock. I sponged the edges with Early Espresso ink and placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back then attached to the center of the card. I added some Jewels Basic Pearls to the card and a bow made from the 1/8 Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon.
