Fabulous Florets Stamp Set; Wedding Card

Morning everyone!!

In 11 days I leave for convention!! I am supper excited but at the same time I am spazing out!! I have so much to do before I leave!!! Today this lucky girl gets to go to my parents farm and set 100 T-posts and then paint them. Yep paint them that has got to be a first for me. ROTFL There not green and dad wants them green. Of course Dad picks the hot-est day this week to do this. lol Think dad has too much time on his hands?? ROTFL I will admit that one threw me for a loop and cracked me up. Life sure gets interesting as your parents get order that is for sure! For the most part I think he has adjusted well to retirement but I do think he is a little bored, I would be too if I couldn't do much on my own either.

Today's share is a card I made to play along with a color challenge for my "Summer Fun" Class!!! I am not a big fan of yellow but this card actually just came together supper easy for some reason. lol I used the following supplies to create this~

My base is Daffodil Delight, I then cut a piece of Whisper White card stock and snailed it to the Daffodil Delight. I cut another piece of Daffodil Delight and Whisper White card stock. I punched out the bottom of the Whisper White card stock with the Scallop Trim Border Punch, then snailed the two pieces together. I cut a piece of Beyond the Garden DSP and snailed that to the Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Presto Patterns DSP; brayed over it with the Brayer and Daffodil Delight ink. I wrapped a piece of 5/8 Whisper White Organza Ribbon around the center of the Presto Pattern DSP. Using the Big Shot and the Little Leaves die I die cut out two leaves in Daffodil Delight. I took the stamp from Fabulous Florets Stamp Set; inked in Daffodil Delight and stamped onto Whisper White card stock. I then cut it out and placed it on the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I took the stamp from Happy Greetings Stamp Set, inked in Daffodil Delight and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I then punched it out with the 2" x 1 3/8 Oval Punch, I slid it in under the Presto Patterns DSP. To finish off the card I added Jewels Basic Rhinestones to it.

Beautiful card Holly. I'm just now starting to like the Daffodil Delight (it took me a while)!
Have fun setting those T posts!! YIKES!! 100 of them? That's going to be some back breaking work - and then having to paint them too!
Stay cool.
Lynn

So pretty!! Fabulous Florets looks great in Daffodil Delight!

Beautiful! I love the monochromatic colors.

Beautiful card! Love the Daffodil Delight. Fabulous Florets is one of my favorite stamp sets.

So pretty. This card is so lovely in the daffodil delight and I really like the monochromatic look. Great wedding card!

Oh my, what a sunny, happy card! I love everything about this, from the color (and the monochromatic look), to the layout, to the stamp set used. Beautiful!!!

What a stunning card! I will need to do a monochromatic in yellow. Thanks for blessing my day. :)

Never would have thought of a wedding card in Daffodil, but you've made me rethink it. Awesome!
