I posted this page as the sketch challenge, this page is of my grandparents. I used the following supplies to create this~
Elements of Style item #120045
Springtime DSP item #121782
Decorative Label Punch item #120907
Vanilla Rosettes item #118774
1/2 Baja Breeze Seam Binding item #122331
Jewels Basic Pearls item #119247
Antique Brads item #117273
If you would like to purchase the supplies I used to make this project or place an order shop ONLINE HERE, email or call me too!! Just click on the Shop Now button when on my Stampin' Up! Website.
The base is Not Quite Navy card stock. Next is a piece of Always Artichoke card stock. I took the stamp from Elements of Style Stamp Set; inked in Always Artichoke and stamped randomly all over the card stock. I cut 2 different patterns of Springtime DSP. I took the stamp from Elements of Style Stamp Set; inked in Always Artichoke and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I punched it out using the Decorative Label Punch. I snailed it to the right of the page and then placed the Springtime Vintage DSP over the top of it. I wrapped a piece of 1/2 Baja Breeze Seam Binding around the seam of the DSP.
I mounted the photos onto Not Quite Navy card stock and snailed them to the layout. I cut a piece of Not Quite Navy and Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamp from Elements of Style Stamp Set; inked in Always Artichoke and stamp on the bottom right hand corner. Using the Always Artichoke Stampin' Write Marker I did my journaling.
Tip~ If you don't want your journaling to over power the page consider using a marker that matches your colors of card stock.
To complete the page I added Jewels Basic Pearls on the left side of the top picture and on the right side of the journaling block. I added three Vanilla Rosettes above the label in a group of three. I then made a bow from the 1/2 Baja Breeze Seam Binding and added an Antique Brad to the center of the bow. I then attached to the strip of 1/2 Baja Breeze Seam Binding.
