My base is Whisper White card stock. I cut a piece of Not Quite Navy and So Saffron card stock. I ran the So Saffron card stock through the Big Shot with the Perfect Details Texturz Plate. I cut 2 different patterns of Botanical Gazette DSP. I used the Scallop Trim Border Punch on one piece, then snailed them to the Not Quite Navy card stock. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I punched 3 squares out in Not Quite Navy card stock with the 1 3/8 Extra Large Square Punch. I took the stamps from Nature Walk Stamp Set; inked them in Not Quite Navy and So Saffron and stamped onto Whisper White card stock. I then punched each image out with the 1 1/4 Square Large Punch. I snailed the Whisper White to the Not Quite Navy squares. I then placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and attached to the top of the bigger piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Nature Walk Stamp Set; inked in Not Quite Navy and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I punched it out with the Curly Label Punch. I then snailed it to the back of the Whisper White card stock. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and attached to the front of the card. I wrapped a piece of 5/8 Whisper White Organza Ribbon around the layers. I then placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and popped it up off the front of the card. To finish the card off I added Jewels Basic Rhinestones to the card.

On the inside I took the stamp from Nature Walk Stamp Set; inked in So Saffron and stamped in the bottom right hand corner. I then cut a piece of Not Quite Navy card stock and a piece of Botanical Gazette DSP. I punched the bottom out using the Scallop Trim Border Punch. Then snailed both pieces to the bottom of the card on the inside.

Color Round Up #30; using Easter Blossoms

Hello everyone!


Every Wednesday I will be posting a new Color Round Up Color Challenge!!! All color challenges will be based on Stampin' Up! color families. I am a Stampin' Up! Demo so all my samples will only use SU product.

My base is Always Artichoke, I then cut a piece of Rose Red card stock. I took the stamp from Easter Blossoms Stamp Set; inked in Rose Red and stamped all over the Rose Red card stock randomly. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I ran it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I cut a piece of Springtime Vintage DSP and snailed that to the Very Vanilla card stock. I cut a piece of Always Artichoke and Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamp from Easter Blossoms Stamp Set; inked in Rose Red and stamped onto the Very Vanilla card stock. I snailed the Always Artichoke and Very Vanilla card stock together. I pierced holes on the left side of the Very Vanilla card stock using the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool. I then placed 2 Metallic Brads through the holes. I put Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and placed in the center of the card. I took the stamp from Easter Blossoms Stamp Set; inked in Always Artichoke and stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I punched it out with the 1 3/4 x 7/8 Oval Large Punch. I punched out a piece of Rose Red card stock with the Oval Scallop Punch. I snailed the two pieces together and placed a Metallic Brad off to the right. I placed a Stampin' Dimensional on the back and attached to the card.

My base is Early Espresso card stock. I cut a piece of Rose Red and and snailed it to the front of the Early Espresso card stock. I cut a piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock, ran it through the Big Shot with the Perfect Details Texturze Plate. I cut a piece of Early Espresso card stock and used the Scallop Trim Border Punch on one side. I wrapped a piece of 1/2 Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding around the center of the Early Espresso card stock. I cut a piece of Rose Red and Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamp from the Charming Stamp Set and colored the image in with the following markers; Rose Red and Pear Pizzazz. I stamped onto the Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamp from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set; inked in Early Espresso and stamped in the bottom left corner of the Very Vanilla card stock. I took a piece of scrap Early Espresso card stock, punched out 3 tabs using the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I snailed that to the back of the Very Vanilla card stock, then snailed to the Rose Red card stock. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and attached to the Pear Pizzazz card stock. To finish off the card I added Jewels Basic Pearls.

I cut a piece of Rose Red and Very Vanilla card stock. I snailed the Rose Red to the Early Espresso inside. I took the stamp from Charming Stamp Set; I colored the image with the Rose Red and Pear Pizzazz marker and stamped in the bottom right hand corner. I cut a piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock; ran it through the Big Shot with the Perfect Details Texturze Plate. I then added Jewels Basic Pearls on the right side.

Monday's 3D Challenge; Gift Card Holder using Vintage Vogue

Morning and welcome to Monday's 3D Challenge!!

Today's share is the 3D Challenge I posted over on Stampin' Addicts website! If you never been check it out, it is geared towards Stampin' Up! if your a demo be sure to sign up for the demo forums and then give a shout out to me catrules! Today's challenge is to make this Gift Card Holder!!! It is very simple and easy to make!! I used the following supplies to create this~

Directions~

1. Cut 1 piece of Always Artichoke card stock 4 1/4" x 4 1/4".

2. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White card stock 4" x 8" score at 4". Then cut one of the white squares diagonal from point to point. Take the stamp from Vintage Vogue Stamp Set; ink it in Baja Breeze and stamp randomly over the Whisper White card stock. Ink the leave in Always Artichoke and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock.

3. Cut 1 piece of Baja Breeze card stock 3 3/4" x 7 1/2" score at 3 3/4". Ink the Very Vintage Jumbo Wheel in Baja Breeze and roll across the Baja Breeze card stock.Snail the Baja Breeze card stock to the Whisper White card stock. Fold together and place Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the Whisper White card stock. Wrap 2 pieces of 1/2 Peach Parfait Stitched Ribbon around the Whisper White card stock use the ribbon to tie it shut. To finish decorating the front take the stamp from Vintage Vogue Stamp Set; ink it in Peach Parfait and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Cut the flower out and place a Stampin' Dimensional on the back attach to the Baja Breeze card stock. Place Jewels Basic Pearls onto the Gift Card Holder.

4. Cut 1 piece of Baja Breeze card stock 1" X 3 3/4". Take the stamp from Vintage Vogue Stamp Set; ink it in Baja Breeze ink and stamp onto the Baja Breeze card stock. Snail only 3 edges and attach to the bottom of the Baja Breeze card stock on the inside creating a pocket to slide your gift card into.

Little notebook using Three Little Words

Morning everyone!

Sorry I didn't post yesterday! I ran out of time!! Yesterday my dad retired from his job. My dad had to retire due to his health. My dad was diagnosed with COPD. About 3 years ago my dad became very sick and we went a year before they finally figured out what was wrong with him. This last year it has really progressed and he is now unable to work. I am pretty busy helping at the farm and right now is calving time. Life has changed a lot for our family in the last 3 years, yesterday it was a little weird seeing my dad retire. His work threw a nice party for him!! We had lots of fun and the food was great!!

Today's share is a little notebook I made using Three Little Words and the Paisley Prints DSP!! This DSP is a sneak peak item that will be in the next catalog!!!! I took a little notebook, unwound everything, measured the cover and  cut a piece of Sahara Sand card stock. I took the stamp from Three Little Words Stamp Set; inked in Sahara Sand and stamped around the edges of the card stock. I round the two bottom corners with the 3/16 Corner Small Punch. I cut a piece of Always Artichoke card stock and snailed it the left side. To create the holes at the top I placed the Sahara Sand card stock over the top of the cover and using a 1/4 size hand punch; punched the holes through the Sahara Sand card stock. I then worked the wire back through putting the little notebook back together.

I cut a piece of Marina Mist card stock, then ran it through the Big Shot with the Top Note Die. I cut the Top Note in half, then ran it through the Big Shot again this time using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I snailed it the the left side of the cover. I cut a piece of Paisley Prints DSP. I cut a piece of Always Artichoke and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Three Little Words Stamp Set; inked in Marina Mist and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I snailed all three pieces together, then at the bottom I wrapped a piece of 3/8 Marina Mist Taffeta Ribbon around the bottom. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and attached it to the front of the notebook. To finish it off I added a Mini Library Clip and Jewels Basic Pearls to it. I just love how this turned out!!

Color Round Up #29 using Fun and Fast Notes

Morning everyone!

I am posting the Color Round Up Color Challenge a day late! Life has just been very crazy here!! Yesterday I spent the morning registering for Convention!!! I am going to convention!!! WOOO HOOO!! I then meet with a guy from the Power Company here we've spent the last year and half fighting with them, they are running a new power line down our road and of course are taking 57' of our property and clear cutting our beautiful trees. Very sad and will do a lot of destruction to our property, but yesterday I finally closed on the paper work with them. I am very glad to have the legal part behind us!! Then I spent the rest of the day working on taxes. Normally I don't wait that long but I've just had a lot going on here.

This is a 3 x 3 Note Card, my base is Rose Red card stock. I cut a piece of Baja Breeze card stock and snailed it to the Rose Red card stock. I cut a piece of Wild Wasabi card stock, ran it through the Big Shot with the Perfect Details Texturze Plate. I then punched out a piece of So Saffron card stock using the Dotted Ribbon Border Punch. I cut a piece of Rose Red and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Fun and Fast Notes Stamp Set; inked in Jet Black Stazon and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I then colored the image in using a Blender Pen and the following inks; Baja Breeze, So Saffron, Wild Wasabi and Rose Red. Using the 1 3/8 x 5/8 Oval Punch I punched out a piece of Baja Breeze card stock. I snailed it to the Whisper White card stock so only half showed. I then placed a Silver Brad through it. I snailed this piece to the Rose Red card stock and placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back; then attached it to the front of the card.

I cut a piece of So Saffron and Marina Mist card stock.I used the Scallop Edge Border Punch on one side of the Marina Mist card stock, using the White Gel Pen I added dots to each scallop. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock. I took the stamps from Awash with Flowers Stamp Set; inked them in Jet Black Stazon and stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I then colored in the images using a Blender Pen and the Water Color Crayons. I wrapped a piece of 5/8 Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon around the bottom of the Whisper White card stock. I wrapped a piece of Natural Hemp Twine on top of the 5/8 Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon. I snailed the Whisper White card stock the the Marina Mist.

I took the stamp from Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set; inked in Old Olive and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I punched it out using the 1 3/4 x 7/8 Oval Large Punch. I punched out a piece of So Saffron card stock with the Scallop Oval Punch. I snailed the two pieces together, I used the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool to punch a hole in each scallop. I placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and placed it on the bottom right hand corner. To finish off the card I placed a Designer Button Subtles onto the oval punched piece, then added a bow made from Natural Hemp Twine.

Inside View~

I cut a piece of So Saffron and Whisper White card stock. I took the stamp from Awash with Flowers Stamp Set; inked in Jet Black Stazon and stamped in the bottom right hand corner. I colored the flowers in using a Blender Pen and Water Color Crayons. I snailed the Whisper White card stock to the So Saffron card stock. I took a piece of Marina Mist card stock punched one side with the Scallop Edge Border Punch. Using the White Gel Pen I added a dot to each scallop, I then snailed the Marina Mist card stock to the bottom of the So Saffron card stock. I wrapped a piece of 5/8 Old Olive Grosgrain around the  So Saffron, Whisper White and Marina Mist card stock.

Monday's 3D Challenge, Decorated Envelope using Friends 24-7

Morning everyone!!

I know I have been missing. Life has been crazy busy for us and hasn't allowed much time for me to stamp!!


Today's share is the 3D Challenge I posted over on Stampin' Addicts website! If you never been check it out, it is geared towards Stampin' Up! if your a demo be sure to sign up for the demo forums and then give a shout out to me catrules! Today's challenge is to decorate a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" Envelope. I used the following supplies to create this~

Directions~

1.  Use 1 5 1/2" 5 1/2" Medium Envelop, seal the flap closed. Take the Scallop Edge Border Punch and punch across the top. Using the Sanded Background Stamp; ink it in Daffodil Delight and stamp onto the Envelope.Punch holes in each scallop using the Paper-Piercing Tool and Mat Pack. Ink the Friendly Words Jumbo Wheel in Old Olive, and wheel about 1/2" up from the bottom across the envelope.

2. Cut piece of Daffodil Delight card stock 1" x 5 1/2", use the Scallop Edge Punch to punch one side out. Punch holes in each scallop using the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool. Snail the Daffodil Delight card stock just above the Friendly Words. Wrap a piece of 1 1/4" Marina Mist Stripped Grosgrain Ribbon around the envelope just about the Daffodil Delight card stock. Tie the ends off with a piece of Natural Hemp Twine.

3. Cut 1 piece of Old Olive card stock 2 1/2" x 2 3/4".

4. Cut 1 piece of Whisper White card stock 2 1/4" x 2 1/2". Take the stamp from Friends 24-7 Stamp Set, ink it in Marina Mist and stamp onto the Whisper White card stock. Snail the Whisper White card stock to the Old Olive card stock. Place Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and attach to the center of the Envelope. Take a Designer Button Brights, run some Natural Hemp Twine thought the button and attach to the left side of the bird image. Fill a Medium Cellophane Bag full of goodies, tie the top closed with a piece of Natural Hemp Twine. Take the stamp from Friends 24-7 Stamp Set; ink it in Old Olive and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Punch it out with the Decorative Label Punch, cut the top and bottom edge off. Punch 1 piece of Marina Mist card stock out with the Decorative Label Punch, snail the two pieces together and attach at the top of the Cellophane Bag. Fill the envelope in with scrap Old Olive card stock ran through the Crimper.
