Color Round Up #23 using Dreams du Jour

Morning everyone!

Every Wednesday I will be posting a new Color Round Up Color Challenge!!! All color challenges will be based on Stampin' Up! color families. I am a Stampin' Up! Demo so all my samples will only use SU product.

To take part in the Color Round Up Color Challenge CRU #23~

1. Create a project (card, scrapbook page, 3D item or MDS item) using these colors or similar shades only on your project. You may use white or vanilla with this color challenge. I can't wait to see what you make!!!

2. Post it to your blog or other public gallery (Stampin' Addicts, Splitcoast and etc.) using the key words Color Round Up #23 or CRU #23 and make sure to include a link back here to the challenge.

3. Enter your name and direct link to your project in Mr. Linky box below!

The deadline is March 1st so you have until March 1st midnight central time to enter your project!! Join me for Color Round Up Color Challenge #23!! One winner will be picked and they will receive a badge to post on their blog!!! You can play along anytime for the color challenges but if you would like a chance at the badge you'll need to enter by March 1st.

My base is Pear Pizzazz card stock. I then cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler and Sahara Sand card stock. I took the stamp from Dream du Jour Stamp Set; inked in Cherry Cobbler and stamped in the lower right hand corner on the Sahara Sand card stock. I cut a piece of First Edition DSP, sponged the edges with Sahara Sand ink. I then wrapped Crochet Trim 1/2 Chantilly around the bottom of the DSP. Next I made a ruffle out of the 1/2 Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding and wrapped that around below the Crochet Trim.

I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler, Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla card stock. I took the stamp from Dream du Jour Stamp Set; inked in Jet Black Stazon and stamped onto the Very Vanilla card stock. I then colored the image in with the following colors; Cherry Cobbler, Pear Pizzazz and Sahara Sand using a Blender Pen. I snail all 3 pieces together and placed Stampin' Dimensionals on the back and slid a little bit under the Crochet Trim. To finish off the card I added Jewels Basic Pearls to it.
