Card using Artistic Etchings

Morning everyone!

I ended up not posting yesterday...I overslept and had to hurry to get ready before my brother got to my house. My brother came home for the weekend and we went fishing yesterday. I also out fished him too! Which is a rare thing! lol We had a lot of fun!

So today's card I created with some more new goodies I got! I am loving this Artistic Etchings set so much!! I made this card for an upcoming swap as well! I used the following items to create this card~

Square Lattice Embossing Folder item #119976
Scallop Trim Border Punch item #118402
1 3/8 x 5/8 Oval Large Punch item #119863
1/8 Taffeta Daffodil Delight Ribbon item #119254
Neutral Brads item #119736
Newsprint DSP item #117166
Sponge Daubers item #102892

My base for the card is Crumb Cake card stock. I took the crown from Artistic Etchings and stamped around the edges in Crumb Cake ink, I then sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink. I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock. Using the Big Shot and the Square Lattice Embossing Folder I embossed the Basic Black card stock. I cut a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock, used the Scallop Trim Border Punch on the bottom. Using the stamps from the Artistic Etchings set I stamped the Medallion randomly in Daffodil Delight, then stamped the Amour in Basic Black ink randomly. To finish this piece off I sponged the edges with Daffodil Delight.

I cut a piece of Crumb Cake Card stock. Using the key from Artistic Etchings I stamped the edges in Crumb Cake ink. Then sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink. Next was a piece of Basic Black card stock. I cut a piece of our Designer Series Paper called Newsprint. I stamped the key in Crumb Cake around the edges randomly, then took the scroll looking stamp and inked it in Daffodil Delight, stamped it randomly around the edges also. I then sponged the edges with Crumb Cake. In the center I stamped the tower in Basic Black ink. Love our clear stamps so much!! It makes it so much easier for placement!! On the bottom I tied a piece of 1/8 Taffeta Daffodil Delight Ribbon. Love this ribbon!!! To finish it off I punched out a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock using our 1 3/8" x 5/8" Oval Punch. I took the Medallion image from the Artistic Etchings set, inked it in Daffodil Delight and stamped on the punched piece. I then sponged the edges with Daffodil Delight. I wrapped it around all three layers and then placed a Neutral Brad in the center. I then placed Stampin' Dimensionals behind and attached it to the card front! Lot of detail to this card, I love how it turned out!
