If your just starting here at my blog just follow around from here. I am stop #6 on the tour. The set I am featuring out of the Summer Mini is Elements of Style! I love this set!!!
1st Project is a Card~
My base is Soft Suede card stock, I used the Cutter Kit to rough up the edges on all of the layers. Next is a piece of Mellow Moss, I stamped the flower in Mellow Moss in the background. I sponged the edges with Mellow Moss. I added a layer of Sahara Sand; using the En Francais Background stamp I inked it in Sahara Sand and stamped on the card stock, I used the scroll imaged from Elements of Style and stamped that in Summer Sun ink. On the bottom of the card stock I used the Eyelet Border Punch. Then I sponged Sahara Sand ink around the edges.
I cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and stamped the flower in Soft Suede ink; I colored the image in using a Blender Pen and the following ink pads Mellow Moss, Summer Sun, and Soft Suede. Then I stamped the flowers again, colored them, cut them out and popped the up on Stampin' Dimensionals. I then added Crystal Effects to the followers. I sponged Soft Suede around the edges. I placed a piece of Soft Suede card stock behind the Vanilla and then popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals. In the upper right hand corner I added a Vintage Brad.
I stamped the saying in Soft Suede on Very Vanilla card stock, I punched it out with the Large Oval Punch and sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink. I punched a Scallop Oval in Soft Suede to place behind it. I then popped that up with a Stampin' Dimensional. On the bottom I added some Mellow Moss Taffeta Ribbon, tied a bow with Hemp Twine Natural and added a Designer Button Latte to the center. To finish it off I used the Smooch Spritz Log Cabin to give it a shine!

2nd Project 12 x 12 Scrapbook Page~
This is a scrapbook page for my history album of my great, great Aunt. I started by mounting the picture on a piece of Sahara Sand card stock, I used the En Francais Background stamp I inked it in Sahara Sand and then stamped on the card stock. I sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink. Then I attached it to a piece of Soft Suede card stock. I stamped the flower on the sides using Soft Suede ink. On the left I added the pearls from the Pretties Kit. On the right I added a strip of Mellow Moss Taffeta Ribbon; at the top I added a Kraft Corduroy Button with a bow from the Hemp Twine Natural. I then hung one Mini Vintage Tags from the button. On the tag I used the En Francais Background stamp, I inked it in Sahara Sand and stamped on the tag. Using a sponge dauber I added Summer Sun ink to the tag. I stamped part of the saying in Soft Suede and then just cut out the Life part and attached with a Stampin' Dimensionals.
Next was the Sahara Sand card stock. I stamped the En Francais image in Sahara Sand ink. I used the scroll part and stamped that in Summer Sun. Using the Tearing Edge I tore the bottom edge. I then sponged Soft Sued ink around the edges. I used the Dusty Durango Marker along with the Color Spritzer to spray Soft Suede around on the page. I spelled out her name in Mellow Moss card stock using the Big Shot and the SU Timeless Type Alphabet. I stamped the flowers on the letter in Mellow Moss. I cut a piece of Mellow Moss card stock for the next layer. I stamped the flower in Mellow Moss ink and then sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink. I used the Big Shot and Lattice Die and cut out two in Soft Suede to add to the page. Behind that I matted it all on a piece of Soft Suede textured card stock. To finish it off I added one of the hat pins from the pretties kit along with a bow made from the Kraft Taffeta ribbon. Then I took the Smooch Sprtiz Vanilla Shimmer to the hole thing! (NOTE) be sure to cover up your picture before spraying any of the Smooch Spritz.
